Last December, we launched a new book entitled Found: Letters on Life, Love and God by first-time author but long-time blogger, teacher, social advocate, and self-proclaimed optimist, Isa Garcia. It has been one of our top-sellers on our online store, and we would like more people to know about her book. We would like to invite you to a special media launch of the book on February 22, 2017, 7PM at Commune Cafe in Polaris St. Makati (a map is attached, but here’s the Google Maps link https://goo.gl/maps/YENqE
The event will be full of spoken word and musical performances with guests like Bob Ecarma (spoken word artist), Bebo Bharwani (Church Simplified), Marla Miniano (author of It Takes Two), Danah and Stacy Gutierrez (Plump Pinay founders), Marika Callangan (Woman Create), Abbey Sy (author and artist), and many more.
We hope you can join us as we celebrate beauty, love, vulnerability, hope, and being found. Do let us know if you can make it on or before February 20 or if you can send any representative from your organization/publication. You may reach me at 09177045144 or 09998894775 and through this email should you have any questions.
Thank you and we hope to see you on February 22!
About the Book:
Isa Garcia believes that everybody deserves love letters. She wrote these letters in Found for you: the girl who has been feeling a bit lost; the girl who likes to run from pain; the girl who is ready to go; the girl who is a lot of things at one time or another. Isa knows that there are days when you would need to be reminded that you matter, you are not alone, and the world is a far better place with you in it. In this book, may you find a friend who takes you as you are, a safe space for your secret hopes and fears, and the assurance that no matter where you are in your life right now, you will always be found.
