Yes Philippines pledged to come back this October 1, with a bigger and better Startup Summit after it was postponed due to inclement weather last August 13, 2016.
Startup Summit 2016 is a one-day event that aims to educate and equip participants with exceptional ideas and insights from the industry insiders that could help them start, run and grow their businesses. In the said event, over 1000 entrepreneurs, founders, startups and investors are expected to participate. Also, through a national startup competition, the summit will highlight the selection of best startups in the Philippines and who will represent the country to various global competitions.
The event was supposed to be held on De La Salle University Taft when classes in Manila were suddenly suspended the night before due to heavy rains. Yes Philippines is now working on the comeback of this year’s Startup Summit 2016.
